In Davie County, we put education at the center of our community and it all started with a PROMISE! A Promise to give our students an opportunity to continue their education after high school without incurring debt; because a college education is more important now than ever.

IGNITE DAVIE College Promise is a community-wide initiative designed to provide a path for Davie students to gain in-demand skills and education to be competitive in the 21st-century workforce. It also ensures our business & industry have ongoing access to a well-educated and highly skilled workforce.

IGNITE DAVIE College Promise pays tuition, required fees, and a stipend for books for students to attend Davidson-Davie Community College full-time, where they can earn a certificate, credential or Associate/Transfer degree.
