Heavy-duty truck parts are what DEX is all about. They are the country’s largest supplier of renovated, recycled, and surplus heavy-duty and all-makes truck parts and have been in the Advance area since 2015. Their main headquarters is there, and their facility spans over 38 acres.
DEX chose Davie County due to its critical location close to I-40, I-77, and I-85, and its educated and capable workforce. Taking old truck parts and recycling them is economically and environmentally sound, as this keeps the cost down for operating large trucks, and it reduces the waste that could be produced by simply throwing old parts away.
