Davie County is turning up the volume on opportunity as Concert Stuff Group (CSG) — the parent company of Special Event Services (SES) — continues a sweeping expansion in Mocksville. What began in 2020 with a 52,000-square-foot facility is evolving into a 70-acre production and logistics campus that’s positioning the community as a rising star in the live entertainment industry.

“We love Davie County and love being here,” said Michael Brammer, chief strategy officer for Concert Stuff Group. “This community has welcomed us and really rolled out the red carpet to help us make this place home. We’re excited to continue growing and expanding right here in Mocksville.”

Modern Office Expansion Strengthens Operations

SES recently completed a 7,500-square-foot office expansion at its Angell Knoll Avenue site — a major milestone in the company’s rapid growth. The new addition now serves as the administrative headquarters for CSG, featuring ten new offices, an expanded break room and patio, and a new meeting room.

Eight accounting professionals and two HR team members have already relocated to the updated facility.

“Completing this office build-out allows us to centralize key administrative operations and better support our growing network of companies,” Brammer said. “We’re investing in infrastructure that helps us serve our clients and our team more effectively.”

Warehouse and Parking Expansion Underway

CSG isn’t slowing down. Construction is currently moving forward on a $5 million warehouse and parking expansion for SES. The project includes 43,650 square feet of new industrial space, 44-foot clear height ceilings, four new dock doors, and almost 80 additional parking spaces.

These upgrades will provide increased equipment storage, a secondary rehearsal and prep area, and enhanced logistics capabilities—all essential to SES’s large-scale concert and event operations.

Fourth Elm Construction, which built the original SES facility in 2020, is leading this next phase of development.

7 Cinematics Brings Emmy-Winning Talent to Mocksville

Adding even more creative firepower, 7 Cinematics, an Emmy-winning video production company, recently joined the Concert Stuff Group family. Specializing in livestreams, concert films, and music videos, the company moved its eight full-time employees from Greensboro into the Angell Knoll facility after its acquisition in June.

“7 Cinematics brings incredible talent and experience to our team,” Brammer shared. “They’ve won multiple Emmys for their cinematography work in the live event industry, and their expertise perfectly complements what we do across our production, staging, and broadcast divisions.”

Local leaders see this as another major win for Davie County.

“SES, a world-class events company serving concerts, tours, and special events nationwide, is expanding in Mocksville and Davie County,” said Terry Bralley, president of the Davie County Economic Development Commission. “The company recently began the first of several phases to grow their presence in our community, bringing jobs, investment, talent, and a reputation to deliver excellence to their clients. We are excited and thrilled at the many opportunities these expansions will create with new possibilities for our community.”

Five Phases of Growth: Building a Global Production Campus

CSG’s vision for its Mocksville campus includes five major phases that will transform the site into a comprehensive hub for production, transportation, logistics, and creative development.

  • Phase 1 – SES warehouse, office, and parking expansion: Adds new administrative offices for 12 full-time employees.
  • Phase 2 – Transportation headquarters: Will house Special Event Transportation (SET) and Musical Coaches, supporting a fleet of 150 trucks, 300 trailers, and 25 tour buses.
  • Phase 3 – General flex warehouse: A 120,000–150,000-square-foot facility to host industry peers and support companies, including 7 Cinematics.
  • Phase 4 – Rehearsal and production facility: Designed for artist rehearsals, set construction, and filming, with space for up to 100 crew members.
  • Phase 5 – Client storage and cartage warehouse: Climate-controlled storage cages available for rent by artists and production crews.

“We’re investing not just in buildings but in people and possibilities,” Brammer said. “Each phase of this project creates more local jobs and strengthens our ability to deliver world-class live event experiences.”

In 2024, the group also played a leading role in the Concert for Carolina, a benefit event co-organized by Luke Combs and Brammer. Held at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, the show drew over 82,000 attendees and raised $29.5 million for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts—placing it among the top ten benefit concerts of all time.

Investing in People, Place, and the Future

SES currently employs around 50 full-time staff and up to 100 part-time and contract workers, with even more jobs on the horizon as the Mocksville campus grows.
